Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Transport patients safely within the facility
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain Texas CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided if not already certified)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Willingness to complete hospital-specific training
