Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records
- Assist with meal service and ensure patient nutrition needs are met
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
Qualifications
- No prior healthcare experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must obtain CNA certification within 90 days of hire (training provided)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training available)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
