Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Administer medication as directed and accurately document all patient care activities.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and physicians regarding patient changes in condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and visitors.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Qualifications
- Certificate as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or current License as a Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Professional demeanor and a genuine passion for patient care.
