Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient activities, behavior, and health status in medical records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not strictly required.
- Current or valid state CNA certification is a plus, but we train candidates without experience.
- Strong desire to work in a healthcare setting and help others.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health records (EHR).
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Valid state-issued ID and proof of eligibility to work in the USA.
