Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and pressure ulcers.
- Communicate patient changes in condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and meal preparation as needed.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current State of Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and assist patients with mobility.
- Commitment to HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.
