Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the attending physician immediately.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) for all assigned patients.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to hygiene and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist with code blue situations as needed.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong patient-centric focus.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
