Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care via telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR)
- Manage weekend patient intake, triage, and appointment scheduling remotely
- Assist providers with virtual patient preparation and documentation
- Process lab results, prescriptions, and follow-up communications
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all remote patient interactions
- Collaborate with on-site clinical teams for seamless care transitions
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation for urgent patient needs
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) from accredited program
- 2+ years clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Exceptional telehealth platform expertise (Zoom Health, Doxy.me)
- Strong remote communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 6am-6pm)
