Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs accurately.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Provide basic nursing care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Document patient care activities and observations in medical records.
- Support the healthcare team during high-volume weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the state of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
