Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with mobility, walking, and transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as directed by the nursing staff.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN or LPN on duty.
- Document daily care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the state of Ohio (or willingness to relocate).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients frequently throughout the shift.
- Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
