Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations. You will serve as a vital link between our patients and the medical team, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the RN.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and behaviors.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Oklahoma State CNA certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team setting.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
