Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations. You will serve as a vital link between our patients and the medical team, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the RN.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Oklahoma State CNA certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team setting.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
