Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming (ADLs).
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Document patient progress and communicate any changes in condition to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current and active Ohio CNA license (or eligibility to obtain).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient dignity.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for home health travel).
