Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Document patient care plans and updates accurately in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to perform lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
