Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to update and implement patient care plans effectively.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding care status and concerns.
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania CNA certification (Licensure required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
