Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide personal hygiene care and ensure the patient's room remains clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores and promote circulation.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, wheelchairs, or stretchers as needed.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but we welcome qualified entry-level candidates willing to learn.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others in need.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and understanding of medical terminology.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
