Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to patients including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration for patients with special dietary needs.
- Communicate changes in patient condition, mood, or behavior to the Registered Nurse (RN) immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using transfer techniques and assistive devices.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Ohio.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required by the schedule.
- Physical stamina to lift, transfer, and support patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with a strong attention to detail.
