Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and reactions accurately in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and families regarding patient status.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required, valid in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work weekends with a positive attitude and reliability.
