Your Role:
As a CNA on our weekend team, you will provide essential direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure our patients' comfort and safety in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, valid CNA license in the state of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
