Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure maximum safety and comfort.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, patients, and their families regarding care plans.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment to prevent infection and ensure patient dignity.
Qualifications
- Current and active state CNA certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients up to 250 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-centered, and detail-oriented attitude.
