Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and prevent falls.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) and document accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
- Document patient care activities and incidents promptly in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Reliable transportation.
