Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Support nurses with clinical procedures and medication reminders
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments per HIPAA standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in acute care setting
- BLS/CPR certification and valid TB/health screening
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong documentation and time-management abilities
