Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate assistance in daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and care progress
- Support nurses with efficient patient positioning, transfers, and mobility assistance
- Maintain sterile environments through proper infection control protocols
- Communicate patient needs and concerns clearly to nursing staff
- Assist with nutritional support and mealtime supervision
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure patient safety and comfort
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience required
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and safely lift 50+ pounds
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
