Responsibilities
- Delicate resident care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, dietary intake, and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Transport residents to activities, therapies, and medical appointments
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for personalized resident plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to elderly residents
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of geriatric care experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work every weekend (Sat/Sun) with potential holiday rotation
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Passionate about elderly care with compassionate demeanor
- Must clear background check and pre-employment physical
