Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor and document vital signs, resident conditions, and care provided
- Assist with mobility transfers using proper techniques
- Support nutritional needs and meal service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure resident well-being
- Participate in care planning meetings
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year senior care experience preferred
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and health screening
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
