Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Support residents with daily activities and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with nursing staff to create personalized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) and rotating shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
