Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions
- Assist with meals and ensure proper nutrition
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain patient rooms
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and families
- Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
- Support patients with emotional and social needs
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Valid California driver's license (if transporting patients)
