Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature) accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and patients' families regarding patient status and needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state CNA certification and license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a commitment to quality care.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
