Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document vital signs accurately
- Assist with mobility and patient positioning
- Support nutritional needs and mealtime assistance
- Report patient condition changes to RN/LPN staff
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments per infection control protocols
- Deliver emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications
- Active NYS CNA certification
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Excellent communication and observational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- NYS driver's license for facility transport (if required)
