Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift patients safely.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
