Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including recording medical history and vital signs.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures as directed.
- Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Maintain examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Proficient in medical software and computer systems.
