Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per care plan guidelines
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Comprehensive home management including light housekeeping and laundry
- Maintain accurate care documentation and communicate with family members
- Engage clients in meaningful social and recreational activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Strong compassion and patience when working with elderly clients
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
