Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.
- Document daily care logs and incident reports accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current CNA or HHA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with seniors.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
- High school diploma or GED required.
