Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and feeding.
- Remind clients to take their medication at scheduled times.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
- Document daily care logs and report any changes in client health or behavior to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Home Health Aide, or in a similar caregiving role is preferred but not required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a significant plus.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, kind demeanor.
