Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's physical or emotional condition to the care team.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensuring the client adheres to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the client's physician and care plan.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a safe, clean living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and errands.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certification is preferred but not mandatory for all roles.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required for driving clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and assist clients with mobility needs.
