Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take their medications and assist with administration as directed by a nurse.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and light activities.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and running errands.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and report changes in client health conditions to our nursing staff.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, social events, or shopping trips as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), PCA (Personal Care Aide), or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care or geriatric care is highly desirable.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy and patience when working with seniors.
- Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and punctuality.
