The Role:
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. Your kindness and professional skills will help maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients for any adverse reactions.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, and social events.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor and report changes in health status or behavior to the supervising nurse or family members.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe living environment.
Qualifications
- Current CNA, HHA, or PCA certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Valid FL Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility needs.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
