Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on specific dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the client's overall quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor health status, reporting any changes immediately to the supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and errands as needed.
- Document daily activities and care logs accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Caregiver or Home Health Aide certification (CNA/HHA).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in senior care is preferred but not required.
