Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper techniques.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the care team.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
- Handle light housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
- Administer medication reminders and coordinate with healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Experience with elderly or disabled care is a plus.
