Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as directed by nursing staff.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily logs accurately.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to patient care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in senior care is a plus but not mandatory.
