Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding clients with special dietary needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and remind clients to take their prescriptions on schedule.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
