Responsibilities
- Provide personalized personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs, medication schedules, and general health status.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and errands.
- Document daily activities and communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
