Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide personal care and companionship to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and document care activities accurately in the care log.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social outings using a company vehicle.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties as requested by the client.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be patient, empathetic, and detail-oriented.
