Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulationPrepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Administer prescribed medications accurately
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care notes and client records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Illinois driver's license + reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Clear criminal background check required
- Compassionate personality with patience and empathy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
