Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and grocery shopping duties
- Document care activities and report health changes to supervisors
- Engage clients in meaningful social and recreational activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- TN state nursing assistant certification or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Background check and drug screening required
