Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs per care plan protocols
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities using personal vehicle
- Comprehensive documentation of care activities and client progress
- Light housekeeping and meal planning to maintain safe home environments
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote cognitive and emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent certification
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass comprehensive background and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in care documentation
- Empathetic personality with patience and cultural sensitivity
