Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and pharmaceutical products under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of pharmaceuticals
- Prepare sterile compounds and IV medications following strict safety protocols
- Process insurance claims and maintain precise patient records
- Provide exceptional patient education and medication counseling
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience in retail or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulatory standards
