Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily activities (bathing, dressing, meal preparation)
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and meal planning for assigned clients
- Document care activities and client progress in electronic records
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow safety protocols during emergencies and crisis situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Compassionate nature with patience and empathy
- Physical ability to assist with mobility (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Willingness to complete paid caregiver certification program
