Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors, engaging in conversation and recreational activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and feeding.
- Administer medication and remind clients to take prescriptions at the prescribed times.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or mental health to the nursing team.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands using a personal vehicle.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- A genuine passion for helping others and patience with seniors.
