Responsibilities

  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time and report any changes in health or medication side effects to the supervising nurse.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious, appetizing meals that meet the client's dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Companionship: Engage in social activities, listen to concerns, and provide emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the client, including light laundry and errands.
  • Mobility Support: Assist with walking, transferring from bed to chair, and using mobility aids safely.
  • Documentation: Accurately document daily logs, including care provided and client behavior, in our electronic health records system.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Completion of a state-approved CNA or Home Health Aide training program is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience: Previous experience in home health, caregiving, or the healthcare industry is highly valued.
  • License/Certification: Valid CNA or HHA certification (if applicable) required. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
