Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor clients' health status and report changes to care coordinators
- Engage clients in meaningful social activities and companionship
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Administer medications according to care plans and training protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant healthcare training
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans precisely
