Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, bathing, and medication management
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care records and update care plans
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure safe living environments
- Facilitate engaging activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent training
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly clients
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and transfers
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
